The Department of Crop Sciences has a  well equipped laboratory well furnished ,nice decorative Museum having posters regarding the Entomology, Pathology, Microbiology, Agronomy and other  agricultural related fields  like Organic farming, microbial control, biopesticide, Bio-fertilizer etc. The department has a nice computer lab with internet facility. Besides another lab where practical are conducted in Entomology, Pathology, Microbiology, Organic farming. A well equipped microbiology lab is also available where practical of isolation and inoculation are taken. The department is also having a bio control unit where Tricho-card production is done and the distribution of the same is done to the near by farmers in the vicinity of Rahata, Sangmner, and Shrirampur tehsil for the control of Borer complex.
